How to Create a Free Blog on Blogspot?
It's very easy to create a Blogger blog. Let’s start with step by step guide for creating a blog/website for free.
Step 1: Sign in to Blogger
Go to Blogger and Sign In with your Gmail Account, If you don’t have an account then you can create It for free by clicking the "Create Account" button at the bottom left corner as shown in the below screenshot. Blogger belongs to Google that’s the reason you would be needing a Gmail account for building a website on BlogSpot.
Step 2: Create a New Blog
If you have already a Blogger account then It’s time to create a new website, click on the New Blog button. Otherwise, you will be presented in the next step.
Step 3: Give a title for your blog
Once you are done logging in with your Gmail credentials, you will be seeing a screen like the below one. Write your blog title in the text field and click Next.
Step 4: Give your Website’s domain name
After completing step 2, you will see a screen like below. Now give your website's domain name(must be unique) in the link field and click on the Next button.
You must know that these domain names are free and that's why they would be suffixed with .blogspot.com by default. Blogspot also provides us the choice of getting custom domain names and that we would see the way to add custom domain names during this guide later.
Step 5: Give a Display Name
If you complete the previous step then you will see a screen like below that will ask you to give a display name for your blog. This name will show as post author when your blog publishes a post. So give a name and click on the Finish button.
Congratulations! You have successfully created your free blog. Now you can visit your blog by clicking the "View blog" link on the left menu or typing your blog URL in a new window.

How to change Blogger template?
In the Blogger dashboard click on the "Theme" button. Then you will see a screen like below just scroll down and choose the best template for you or you can download a third-party template and install them.

Go to the Theme section in the Blogger dashboard and click on the arrow icon then Restore.
You will see a pop up like below click on the "Upload" button. Now upload your blog theme(.xml file), It will update your blog design.
How to write your first post on Blogger?
In the Blogger dashboard, you will see a "New Post" button click on it and you will be presented with a screen like below. Give your post title, write your post description and settings up for publishing your post. And finally, click on the Publish button to publish your post.
